Syngistix™ Delivers Complete Data Acquisition, Analysis and Reporting Capabilities Across Multiple Inorganic Analysis Instruments

PerkinElmer Inc., a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, today announced the launch of the Syngistix™ Atomic Spectroscopy Software platform.

This new offering is PerkinElmer’s cross-platform instrument control solution that enables lab professionals conducting inorganic elemental analysis to work seamlessly across multiple techniques and enhance their productivity. PerkinElmer’s atomic spectroscopy instruments can be used in a variety of research applications, including environmental monitoring, food safety and quality testing, and nanomaterials characterization.

How it works

Syngistix Atomic Spectroscopy Software provides workflow-based navigation with a modern user interface harmonized across all PerkinElmer atomic spectroscopy techniques. It features a unique icon-based design that simplifies navigation and walks the user through every step of the analysis. . The platform includes:

Syngistix™ Atomic Absorption (AA) Software: designed to speed and simplify the process from sample to results across a wide range of atomic absorption techniques offered by PerkinElmer: Flame and Furnace, FIAS-MHS/Flame/Furnace, FIMS and MHS.

Syngistix™ ICP Software: helps optimize the performance of PerkinElmer’s Optima® ICP-OES instruments and facilitate support for a variety of peripherals, including online auto-dilution systems and flow injection.

Syngistix™ ICP-MS Software: designed for PerkinElmer’s NexION® 350 ICP-MS, helps generate faster and more actionable information for every type of analysis, including qualitative, semi-quantitative, quantitative or specialized (isotope-ratio, isotope-dilution).

Syngistix™ Enhanced Security™ Software: For highly regulated laboratories, an Enhanced Security option is available to speed and simplify regulatory compliance, including 21 CFR Part 11 mandates for pharmaceuticals.

In addition to the Syngistix Atomic Spectroscopy Software platform, PerkinElmer also offers integrated informatics software to help lab professionals easily and efficiently capture, transfer and visualize data obtained from atomic spectroscopy instruments:

LimsLink™ Inorganic: reduces the time and complexity associated with transferring data from PerkinElmer’s AA, ICP, and ICP-MS instruments to other manufacturers’ Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

TIBCO Spotfire® Inorganic: creates enhanced data visualizations from a single PerkinElmer AA, ICP or ICP-MS instrument or series of instruments quickly and efficiently.
