The British analytical services company LGC has entered into a strategic alliance with TranScrip Partners, a British contract research organization that supports biopharmaceutical product development. The alliance will allow both companies to combine and enhance their offerings to clients, particularly in the areas of anti-infectives and respiratory disease.
'We’re really excited by this development; LGC’s high quality laboratory services and TranScrip’s expertise in drug development strategy, medical writing and regulatory affairs complement each other beautifully,' said David Griffiths, director, pharmaceutical services, at LGC. 'Whilst both companies support all therapeutic areas, we have a combined strength in anti-infectives.'
