The Journal of Chemometrics is pleased to announce that the 2012 Kowalski Prize in Chemometrics has been awarded to: T. Næs; O. Tomic; B.-H. Mevik; and H. Martens for their paper "Path modelling by sequential PLS regression”.
This paper is free to view on Wiley Online Library until August 31, 2012.
The Kowalski Prize is given each year, and alternates between the "best theoretical paper" and "best applied paper" published in the Journal of Chemometrics. This year was the turn of the "best theoretical paper" published in 2010 and 2011.
The award honours the many contributions of the former Editor-in-Chief and Founding Editor of the Journal, Bruce Kowalski.
Worth $1000, the Kowalski Prize was presented to the winners at CAC-2012 meeting in Budapest, Hungary.
