Background
Applied Nanosystems, Inc. is a start-up company in molecular and point-of-care diagnostic. We offer highly accurate, portable, real time multi-sensor diagnostic technology for DNA, RNA and protein detection. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated scientist with Raman spectrescopy expertise.

Duties
Responsibilities include:
1) Develop and test applications for the Raman based biosensor
2) Prepare technical documents including proposal and journal papers
3) Perform analyses of samples submitted by prospective customers.

Qualifications
1) Ph.D. or MS in chemistry, chemical engineering or related fields with in-depth Raman knowledge (including theory and experimentation). Molecular biology experience is a plus.
2) Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3) Must be willing to travel
