Agilent Technologies has recently launched a whole host of new chromatography products, including a new 2D liquid chromatography (LC) instrument, new gel permeation/size exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC) software and what the company calls 'the most versatile LC system available'.
This versatile LC system is the Agilent 1290 Infinity Quaternary LC system, which is the first quaternary ultra-high pressure LC (UHPLC) system to deliver the accuracy and precision of binary systems. It's all based on a new quaternary pump, which offers a maximum pressure of 1200 bar and a maximum flow rate of 10ml a minute. In the same range, the Agilent 1290 Infinity 2D-LC system contains a binary pump and an innovative new valve, and is designed to analyze highly complex samples such as biopharmaceuticals, plant extracts, food and polymers. Meanwhile, the new GPC/SEC software boasts improved measurement and reporting capabilities for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
In addition, Agilent has introduced the 1220 Infinity LC system, which is an integrated, binary-gradient LC system with a pressure range of up to 600 bar, supporting the latest UHPLC technology, and new 218 and SD1 LC purification systems.
