908 Devices, a US developer of small and elegantly simple analytical devices for chemical and biomolecule analysis, has announced the signing of a Value Added Reseller (VAR) Agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific. This co-exclusive, two-year partnership agreement empowers Thermo Fisher to sell 908 Devices’ microchip electrophoresis device, ZipChip, as a complementary front-end separations platform with its High Resolution Accurate Mass (HRAM) mass spectrometry (MS) instruments.

Users of the Thermo Scientific Q Exactive series, Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Elite and Thermo Scientific LTQ Orbitrap XL instruments can benefit from the fast separations generated by ZipChip for enhanced MS analysis. By seamlessly integrating with existing data collection processes, the platform is enabling significant analytical strides throughout the industry.
