The determination of the different sugar ingredients in food is required for the list of ingredients and thus indispensable for correct product declaration. The use of the 815 Robotic Soliprep for LC significantly facilitates sample preparation: After weighing the sample, the Soliprep adds water and homogenizes the sample. The resulting extract is automatically filtered through a syringe filter and subsequently injected into the IC system. Pulsed amperometric detection is applied to determine the sugar compounds.
