Julian Wills: Biography

Julian has over 20 years experience in ICP-MS, including both high resolution and quadrupole systems. He spent 5 years as a research assistant at the NERC ICP-MS Facility, United Kingdom before accepting a post-doctoral position at Université de Montpellier II, France. Upon completion of his post-doc, Julian joined Thermo Fisher where he has spent the past 15 years working with the complete ICP-MS product range, including the recent iCAP Q quadrupole release.

Sanja Asendorf: Biography

Sanja graduated in Marine Environmental Sciences at the Carl von Ossietzky-University of Oldenburg, Germany in 2011. Her master project was about the geochemistry of Antarctic sediments and pore waters in regard to global climate changes within the past century. After another scientific project in Antarctica in the 2011/2012 season, Sanja started a scientific employment at MARUM (Center for Marine Environmental Sciences, Bremen, Germany) where she investigated human induced coastal changes within the past millennium.

In April 2014, Sanja joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Application Specialist for ICP-OES, where she supports the customer with the development and implementation of new methods and regulations in their laboratory routines.
