The 13th International Symposium on Hyphenated Techniques in Chromatography (HTC-13) will take place in Bruges on January 29-31, 2014. It will also cover hyphenated chromatographic analysers to emphasise the importance of non-chromatographic separation techniques and their hyphenation to a multitude of detectors, online-assays and advanced data interpretation. Some of the key speakers have been appointed and the social program will include an event "based around the processing and analysis of Belgian Beers."

The symposium will run alongside the 3rd Symposium on Hyphenated Techniques for Sample Preparation (HTSP-3), which will begin on January 28, 2014, with the symposia overlapping on January 29th. It will emphasise hyphenation with chromatography and with separation techniques in general.
