The American Chemical Society (ACS) is launching ACS Sensors, a new interdisciplinary journal devoted to the dissemination of new and original knowledge on all aspects of sensor science. The journal began accepting papers in August 2015, with the first issue due to be published in January 2016.

'This is an exciting time for sensors with some incredible advances in the field, and now there is a new journal that will give this stunning science a focal point,' said Justin Gooding, professor of chemistry at the Unversity of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia and editor-in-chief of the new journal.
