Rainbow BioSciences, a new Florida-based biotechnology company, is looking to commercialize promising new biotech-related hardware and software applications for tablet computers and smartphones, especially Apple's iPad and iPhone devices. As such, it is actively seeking out early-stage developers for potential acquisition and joint venture.
'The cutting-edge mobile devices produced by Apple and other developers contains a mix of technologies that researchers are finding invaluable,' says Patrick Brown, CEO of Rainbow Biosciences' parent company Rainbow Coral Corp. 'The cameras, processing power, connectivity and mobility of today’s tablets and smartphones make them ideal tools in the laboratory. Today, experiments can be monitored, recorded, processed and transmitted anywhere in the world with the telephone in your pocket.'
