Dow Chemical launches lab safety website

Dow Chemical has launched a lab safety website featuring a series of documentary and video resources which aim " to enhance awareness of safety practices in academic research laboratories and to promote a safety mindset in the future workforce of the chemical community." It is focused on incident prevention and is based on best practice operated within Dow.
The videos fall into four sections:
- Orientation and Training (10 videos)
- Specialised Topics (9)
- Plan, Evaluate, Execute (9)
- Sustainable Safety Culture (10)
The printed resources include documents on a Lab Hazard Safety Grid, a Safe Operation Card, and Reactive Chemicals.
