Phenomenex and The Analytical Scientist have joined forces to launch The Humanity in Science Award which will recognise "a breakthrough in analytical science that has truly changed lives for the better." It is open to any individual, team or company that feels it has reached these heights.
Applicants can nominate themselves by submitting an account of the qualifying research in up to 1000 words that describes the work and its impact. The only stipulation is that chromatography must have played a key part in the development of a novel process, technology or product. Closing date for applications is 14 November 2014.
The prize of US$25,000 will be awarded at PittCon 2015 and the winning essay will be published in The Analytical Scientist.
