X-Ray Spectrometry journal presents Best Referee Award

This year’s BEST REFEREE AWARD goes to Prof. Dr. Manfred R. Schreiner from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

Approximately 160 manuscripts a year are submitted to X-ray Spectrometry and all are sent for evaluation to independent referees, to guarantee the quality of the published articles and fairness in the decision making process.

About 60% of the manuscripts do not pass the referees' filter; but all authors benefit very much from the constructive criticism and suggestions of the reviewers.

This award is intended to encourage and thank our many referees.
