Recent demands for quantitative measurement by UV-Vis spectroscopy are the quantitation of a component with low concentration and the quantitation of a solution with high concentration without dilution. Here, the quantitation limit and the linearity of a calibration curve for aqueous solutions of caffeine and acetic acid are obtained by using the UV-1900 as demonstrated.

A low-cost, lightweight brain MRI system capable of 1D to 3D imaging within a reduced field of view has been designed that is small enough to be used in point‐of‐care applications.

A recently developed GC/MS method that employs atmospheric pressure ionisation has been used to measure the amounts of organo-chlorine pesticides in human serum, providing detection limits at the pg/mL level.
